Private Tours

Yes we can do private tours! Yes on a private tour you can take all the flash photographs you want. The tour will last the same amount of time and access the same areas in the Fort as a regular tour, but within this format there is some flexibility in spending more time in areas that are of particular interest to your group. We can have the guide give the regular tour to your private group, or for those that have been on the regular tour a billion times and are looking for a more 'investigatory' experience, our guide can happily just smile at you and answer your requests for historical and ghostly information.

OPTION 1 - On a regularly scheduled Ghost tour night
We can run your private tour on a night when Ghost Tours regularly run (the easy way to book a private tour), we will launch your tour 30min after the last regular tour of the night heads in. There is a minimum cost of $150 for the first 10 participants, and $12 for each additional person beyond 10. If you want the tour to start later than 9pm (8pm in Sept) there will be an additional staffing cost of $10/30min.

OPTION 2 - Not on a regularly scheduled Ghost Tour night
This is more difficult to do as we have to balance your  schedule with the Forts, with our staff. $200 for the first 10 participants, and $12 for each additional person beyond 10. If you want the tour to start later than 9pm there will be an additional staffing cost of $10/30min.

Please note that for private tours, you need to book with us in advance, and we only have so many trained Ghost Tour guides, so we may not be able to accommodate your group on our busier nights.

OCTOBER:
Although we generally don't offer private tours in October, the recent flurry of requests has prompted me to update this page. For a 'just your people and the tour guide' the easiest way to do things is to buy up an entire tour's worth of Halloween tickets (30 spots @$17ea = $510).
